In 2009, 19-year-old Dave van Dartel installed his first security cameras. With his enthusiasm, customer focus, and commitment to service, he quickly built a loyal client base. Thanks to word-of-mouth, the precursor to PICSEE grew into an expert in securing villas, office buildings, and factories.
Over time, the quality standards were raised. Grainy cameras were replaced with HD-quality models, better components increased longevity, and data security became a top priority. Years ago, Dave made the switch to Axis Communications. The Swedish manufacturer of cameras and accessories aligned perfectly with the philosophy of 48uur.com BV: to provide, maintain, and continually perfect an unparalleled user experience in the realm of video surveillance.

In 2020, mobile security was added to the portfolio, and PICSEE was born: a mobile security solution for construction sites, events, and other temporary projects. Years of development, testing, refining, and reworking resulted in an innovative product that excels in image quality, ease of use, and security. A dedicated team of builders, alongside technology partner Axis Communications and commercial/logistics partner Collé Rental & Sales, supports our users across the Benelux and Germany.
